After completion of the online technology selection course, participants will be able to: Target group The course is designed for professionals actively involved in sanitation and wastewater management, environmental engineers, managers of wastewater treatment systems, planners, public works officials, public sector development specialists, public health officials. They may be working in local, regional or national governments, as staff of NGOs, or as university lecturers, etc., and do not have the opportunity to travel abroad to take a course that lasts several weeks. Course content Online learning, 4 months, 8 hours per week (total study load 140 hours) Participants complete the course in a period of about four months (16 weeks) with a workload of 140 hours. A participant is expected to spend about 8 hours per week on average through reading, discussion and assignments. The course is sub-divided into 6 subjects and a written assignment.
